King Baslan Elersas is Maltketh first king. He was born sometime before malthketh's "birth" and was one of the first settelers on the island.

 

He had lived almost an entire elflife on the main land before the island was made, there he worked as a councelor to the leader of a bigger village close to harlond. he worked so much that he did not have time to find a wife. he thought he would die alone.

After the birth of the island, he was one of the first to try to organise the surviving population. this got him a place in "the eight sons society", a group of the 8 most driven and wise elves that were to rule the island and take care of it. After a wile, the other 7 members of the order pronounce Baslan king and he is crowned in [f.a 556].

Baslan does a great job as king and makes many of the laws that are still used on the island today.

But being king all by your self is lonely, and baslan is getting old. one day wile viseting the newly founded city of oroduin he meets the sister of the current alysa of oroduin. her name is cuiva turlai. it is love at first sight between the two and they get married only a year after they first meet and welcome a daughter into the world a year after that.

 

Many(but not in an elflife) years go by and one rainy day in the end of [F.A 701] king baslan dies of old age in his bed while sleeping.

 

His only child, daughter lissa takes over the throne after him.

Random Baslan facts:

• He lived for 2701 sunyears, which is relatively normal for an elf.

• he is born on the 10th day of the month of Baslai. this makes him a teacher sun sign.

• He ruled for a very short period in comparsion to rulers after him, only 145 sunyears.

• he is known in the maltkethan history books as "king baslan the father" since the elves on maltketh kind of see him as their forfather.
