House 8: Kalinos

House Kalinos is together with house sikilas on of the "special" houses. this is because they are basicaly extinct, and have been lost throughout history, so no one really remembers the kalinos name any more.

house kalinos have never and will never be anywhere near the throne, they are probably the furthest away from the throne of the houses since they are basically working elves these days.

esteticaly, house kalinos have pale to medium pale skin, gray or black hair, and gray or brown eyes.
House kalinos have the strangest home of them all, because they live in the mountain, among the other miners who live there. they have spent the centuries since they where a real legitimete house trying to convince people that "house kalinos exists!" but no one belives them.
they have no riches and no army, and currently concist of only 10 elves, making them the smallest house in numbers by quite alot (house sikilas are about 100 people and they are the second smallest)
The founder of house kalinos is Awrer kalinos. he was once a member of "the eight sons society", but he was very wounded from inguries he had gotten duiring the birth of the island. becuse he was wounded, he was not able to attend many of the meetings the other 7 members had. because of this, awrer was never given a place to rule over, even though im sure he was very capable of doing so. when he had recoverd from his inguries years after the birth of the island, the other founders did not remember him! therefor awrer had to go work in the mines just like the working elves. but unlike Baianeth of house sikilas, he did not get angry because of this, he just got sad :(
awrer married a woman he met in the mines, her name was astora kalinos. they are the forefathers of house kalinos.

even though it was in use for a very short period of time, the coat of aems of house kalinos is a bat with pickaxes around it on a gray background. this means that the house color is gray and the house animal is a bat.
